Meghan + Corey | Rockford Engagement Session
The moment I pulled up to Meghan and Corey's house in Janesville, I was in love. Old houses tug at my heartstrings and this one was no exception. Meghan welcomed me in and I was greeted by two of the sweetest rescue dogs, Sebastian and Flounder, with slobbery kisses. It was the best. Sebastian sat on his hind legs with his front legs propped up on my right arm half the time, helping me take images of his mom and dad during their session. Haha! Flounder, on the other hand, is completely blind but he definitely knows his way to his parents arms! So, so sweet. I couldn't get enough of it.
In the middle of the session, I asked if we could go on the front porch and use their hammock. We originally thought that the hammock would be strong enough to hold both of them up, but within seconds they were both on the ground! I had enough time to catch Meghan's hilarious reaction to the situation!
Meghan and Corey's love was so contagious and it extended out through their dogs, foster kittens, and baby birds out on their front porch. They have such open hearts and I can't wait to photograph their small, intimate wedding next month!
